Darkmist Moors

A deep, swampy area of Ilithi, thought to be the source of a multitude of paranormal and strange occurrences.

Geography

Rocky landscape, covered in a thick, peaty bog as far as the eye can see in any direction, the Darkmist Moors are not an inviting sight.  Where there is dry land, there is, often, something foul living on it; trolls frequent the moors, prowling it's shores in search of prey.  Large reptiles, thought to be of the crocodile family, stalk it's waters, and the fog which rises is said to contain drakes, which use it as a natural camouflage to track their next meal.

Localized Phenomena

Banshees can be heard wailing over the moors, and have been for more than 200 years. 

Lately though, the moors have been eerily silent.
