Khaine

In the eyes of the Blood Eagles, and the ever-growing cult following him, Khaine is more than simply a rising divine power; he is both master and lord.  Khaine is a violent and destructive God, representing unrestrained aggression, mindless frenzy, and bloodshed on the battlefield. His lust for blood is unquenchable, and he is forever goading his followers to take up arms and murder in his name.

Any man, or woman, who places their faith in Khaine is just as likely to be a blood-crazed killer as they are an honorable warrior, and often will be one in the same, for Khaine is said to smile upon feats of valor and strength.  Yet he is also the divine patron of proud warriors who set themselves against the odds and emerge triumphant through displays of savagery, wrath, and ever-growing bloodlust.

Khaine is known by many names, most commonly as 'Bloodfather' or 'Bloodwolf', both monikers referring to his love of bloodshed and ferocity.

Divine Domains

Moreso than any other domain, clerics of Khaine follow the tenet of war.  To a lesser extent, some find themselves drawn to the domain of death, relishing in the glory of slaughter.

Artifacts

Khaine wears intricately carved brass plate armor, covered in writhing, moving runes and faces screaming in pain and torment.  A huge, winged helm sits upon his head, obscuring his visage (and origin) from view.  Though Khaine is known to carry an arsenal of weaponry, his favors the weapons that spill the most blood, most notably axes and polearms.

Holy Books & Codes

Khaine exalts the brave of both sides in a battle, while at the same time laying terrible vengeance on the cowardly and the craven.  According to the Blood Eagles, it is the solemn right, nay, duty, of every warrior to die an honorable death in battle, with weapon in hand; fighting to the death brings an honor that can never be quenched.

Tenets of Faith

For most who worship Khaine, service is simple: you walk a path of absolute violence and commit yourself to slaughter and battle. Khaine has little use for subtlety, secrecy, and subterfuge, so his minions typically leave civilisation to participate in his rites rather than practice in hiding. They do not have allies, per se, simply fellow murderers that are just as likely to kill each other as those they oppose. Those that cannot escape from mortal society become mass murderers and psychopaths, roaming the streets of the cities and the villages until they are imprisoned or hung.

The greatest prayers to Khaine are the sounds of splashing blood and crushing bones.

It is fitting to take trophies of the fallen, and those who adorn themselves with the skulls of their foes and drink the blood of their enemies shall find favor with the Blood Father.

Mercy is for the weak. Spare no enemy lest you be found wanting.
