Lord General

Requirements

There is no set requirement to be elected or appointed as the Lord General, only that you be a sworn member of the Order.  All Lord Generals of the past have been members of the Knight caste, tho there is nothing stating a Keeper or Steward can not be appointed or elected.

Duties

The Lord General is responsible for every aspect of the Emerald Knights; supply, logistics, patrols, controlling trade as well as migration and movements of Tabaxi and other dwellers of the Pridelands.  They are expected to lead their troops in battle whenever feasible, bringing victory through personal might and leadership.  When battle is not on the horizon, they are expected to recruit, outfit, and train members of the order, and oversee the maintenance and integrity of the Keep, Wall, and Gate complex.

Source of Authority

The Lord General is appointed as the last act of the previous Lord General, or, more often, is elected to lead by the soldiers and Knights of the Order.

Length of Term

Until death or resignation.
