Roger's Raiders
The 23rd Light Infantry Company, better known as 'Roger's Raiders', excel at doing things they never talk about. That goblin encampment that mysteriously burned? Definitely wasn't them. The Warlord massing an army in the Desolate Wastes, who suddenly disappeared? The Raiders were never there, and if they were, they probably, most definitely, had nothing to do with it.
Composition

The raiders keep their identities, and their numbers, a secret. Little is known about them, outside of their command structure, and that is, honestly, the way they prefer things.
Equipment
If it can be used in war, they have one. Or four, with the requisite paperwork to get a few more if they want it. What the raiders want, the raiders get.
Weaponry
Each raider carries their own armament, but they often employ new, sometimes slightly untested, equipment in the field. There is no standardized weaponry or armor amongst them, and many vary their equipment wildly based on the mission parameters.
Tactics
Unorthodox, somewhat unethical, and devilishly brutal. So long as civilians and non-combatants are not harmed, the ends justify the means for the Raiders. They excel at Guerilla warfare, hit and run tactics, infiltration and clever ambushes.
They combine overwhelming military might with trained arcanists in the field, mixing stealth, shock and awe into an explosive blend of combat ferocity.
