Varkan Elum-Raht
An enigma from birth, Varkan was born into a family of Greenskins, only to find himself a pale pinkish grey, bordering on albino. Understandably, this left him feeling like an outcast for the majority of his life, and his family was divided as to whether to expect nothing from him and shun him, or to expect great things from him based on his obvious position as chosen by the Gods.

Personal history
Varkan was known as a ferocious warrior, a compliment amongst a people known as ferocious warriors. He reveled in battle, the fury and the thunder; he saw carnage as a thrill, and sought to bring glory and honor to himself, his house, and above all, his God.
Unlike the majority of the peoples of the Pridelands, Varkan found solace not in the deities of tradition, but in the teachings and the trials of a northern god, one of the barbaric peoples known as Trothfang; a god of slaughter, carnage, and retribution.
As a great war leader during many of the skirmishes surrounding his house, he was both revered and feared by his men, and his enemies were generally terrified to face him in battle; he was known to rout entire groups of foes simply by charging towards them, raising his voice to the sky to curse them in the name of his God.
As members of his family slowly died off in battle, sieges and assassinations, Varkan eventually found himself the only remaining true-born Elum-Raht; he sought to bring honor to his family's name and to continue their legacy, but he was eventually killed outside his home in 208. If the story is to be believed, however, it took nearly 20 bandits to slay him, and he left a pile of corpses in his wake as he defended himself and his wife Morbella Elum-Raht from their attackers.
