Cryson (Cry-Son)

Cyson is the smallest moon orbiting Keyrae, but by far the brightest. In fact, Cryson is so bright that when it is full, it sometimes bathes the surface of Keyrae in a reddish-orange light. These nights, called Burning Nights, are known to be especially dangerous for lycanthropes and beastkin.
Cryson itself is a relatively new moon, only appearing in Keyrae's skies about 10,000 years ago. Records from before the event say Keyrae used to have 4 moons, two of which collided, resulting in Cryson's creation. The moon's surface, as a result, is still covered in molten lava. Despite this, a small number of Kepek were able to settle it and make their homes here. Life on Cryson is difficult, but the rewards of rare and valuable minerals are worth it.
