Antora recently returned to her home forest in the western Windwood after missing for nearly sixteen years. The youngest child of a prominent family in the area, she always wanted to grow up to be a ranger like her two older sisters, Anri and Sayevi. But when she was seventeen, she was assigned as an escort ranger to a merchant traveling through the area and never returned.
Her return, as unexplained and sudden as her disappearance, came shortly after the destruction of the Avatar of Naught. Sayevi, at this point the magistrate of the entire Windwood, was overjoyed to see her sister, but had to face the possibility that Antora may have been responsible for what had happened. Antora's surprising friendship with the Paragon emissary Aidan helped allay Sayevi's suspicion somewhat, but Antora still has much to answer for.
Antora had always been a quiet child, not as natural a leader as Sayevi or as skilled as a ranger as Anri. Instead, Antora's natural talents lay in magic. She had an inherent aptitude for all the schools of magic practiced in the Windwood, from landshaping to healing. Her attunement with the magic of the woods was much stronger at a much earlier age than many of the other forest mages, leading to a not insignificant amount of distrust from her community. As a result, Antora became withdrawn, and learned to intuit when and where to display her talents.
Antora as an adult is less quiet than she was as a child, but she is still introverted and analytical. She does not trust easily, but once she does, the bond is almost unbreakable. The one person she seems to trust completely is Aidan - even moreso than her own sisters. His jovial and extroverted persona is a natural counterbalance to hers, and in battle their skills combine into a formidable force.
Neither Antora nor Aidan seems to be very forthcoming about the circumstances of their meeting. The most they've told anyone is that they met defending a small frontier town from another Whitefire cell, but further details are few.

Seraph blade - Antora wields a single-handed sword with a slightly curved blade made out of an unidentified luminous metal. She does not wear it on a belt or anything similar; instead she can summon it simply by holding out a hand, and it will blink into existence. It can be dismissed in a similar fashion. The sword can act as a powerful focus for light-based spells. Antora's preferred spell is a bright flash that is emitted when the sword strikes a foe. The flash disorients her enemy, allowing her to press the attack or retreat as needed. She apparently obtained the blade around the same time that she met Aidan.

The two fought the Whitefire together in what they say was a small frontier town in Midisa, but they keep the name of the town and the circumstances of the clash as close secrets.
