Erathar is a wood elf born and raised in Daún Mell'an Skogen. As an adult he worked as a huntsman and was a valued member of the Council Of Daún. As a council member he was a strong advocate for better relations and fixed trade routes with neighbouring settlements to further develop the Daúnars quality of life. In the year 345 he saved the human merchant's daughter Ingrid from a pack of hungry wolves. He quickly fell in love and married her. Three years later Ingrid bore him a daughter named Gudrun. Despite his child being a half elf and the village not being overly fond of that, Erathar loved his daughter very much.

After Ingrid's death in 372 and his subsequent removal from the council, there is little information known about Erathar's status and whereabouts.
