The Holy Crests
The members of the Kethurian Holy Dynasty all wear a personalized version of the holy crest. Because only
Audra has a known lineage, there are only known variations of her holy crest (outside of various interpretations on holy symbols).
Audra and Leveona
The main two crests, those of
Audra and
Leveona , both represent their domains. The three pink stones on Leveonas crown represent the cherry blossom leaves that flow with her breeze. Behind those leaves are golden clouds.
Audras domain of thunder is shown by the lightningbolts on her crown. In this crown are also two bluish grey stones, the colour of the sky.
An interesting fact about their colours might be that combined they form a lovely amethyst colour, the same colour as the Kethurian sky.
Kronkus
Kronkus wears a simplified variation of his mothers crest. On the back of his crown are also three points, symbolizing his mothers hair.
Astrid
Astrid d'Arcy is the only member of the Kethurian Holy Dynasty that doesn't wear her crest on a crown, but instead magically tattooed on her face. As she is not a well known member of the dynasty and she has distanced herself from her father, she never got a crown. It was only during her adventures with
The Obsidian that her father used his power to put his mark on her forehead, giving her a slight variation of his holy crest. The Eye of Kronkus gave her the ability to cast more thunder and lightning focussed spells, but also gave
Kronkus the ability to influence her from his residence. It was only when she defeated him with the help of
Nike and the rest of
The Obsidian, that his control over her stopped and his mark transformed into the Eye of Nike. In this new version the lightningbolts were traded in for laurel leaves, a symbol of
Nike.
