The Obsidian

The Obsidian is a group of adventurers consisting of:

• Harriette ''Harrie'' Graythorn , a Human Ranger
• Naevydia Sunwell, an Eladrin Bard
• Ozzo WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGHHHHH, an Orc Barbarian / Warlock
• Lillith Dugald, a Human Cleric
• Egzy, an Orc Fighter

The name comes from an obsidian-like rock found by the group. This rock was accompanied by 10 Daemons of Khorne. These were definitely slain without breaking a sweat or anyone dying.

Structure

The Obsidian resembles your basic dysfunctional family. Consisting of a grumpy dad, an overbearing mother, a hyperactive daughter, a weird uncle, and the teenage son who doesn't know what the fuck is going on. This dynamic and a lot of different morals make that the team members don't often agree with each other. The members of the Obsidian mostly don't have prescribed roles, there's also not a distinct group leader. One of the only people with an acquired role in the group is Azrallean, as he manages their funds. The reason why he was chosen to do this is that he is one of the only two people in the group who knows how to read and count and seemed like the more responsible one.

History

The members of the Obsidian met during their time at Camp Fosfor. After they won the final fight at Camp Fosfor, the group got to meet King Graham at Redmond who asked them to gather information on the green fire that had landed near Lesley's Farm. The night before they went on their quest, Jim left his party members to go on another mission. They haven't heard from him since.
During their first official mission as an adventuring party, they encountered the Daemons of Khorne. Ozzo and Astrid d'Arcy were quickly surrounded by these fiends and lost their lives in the fiery aura's. Luckily Erryn was able to bring them back from death with only scars reminding them of what happened. After traveling the country for a while they were given their own building in Heaven's Keep. This broken-down tavern, formerly known as 'The Broken Arms Tavern', would function as their new base. After weighing their options as to what to use the space for, they decided on starting a brothel called 'The Broken Hearts Inn'.
On a later mission, they acquired their second Deck of Many Things. After Astrid d'Arcy told Gom they needed items to defeat the Daemons of Khorne and to save Aurleen, he gifted her the deck of cards. Soon after Ozzo and Naevydia Sunwell both pulled a card. That was the day Naevydia Sunwell's soul was pulled from her body, but, Ozzo also became more dexterous. Naevydia Sunwell's soulless body was put in the Castle of Redmond. Shortly after they lost Naevydia Sunwell they met their new member: Lillith Dugald. This healer already bore the mark of the lion, and thus was a perfect fit for the group.
The Obsidian was one of the groups who fought in The Assault on Dralgus. They were given the task of destroying the Soul Beacon, thus stopping the creation of new Daemons of Khorne. After completing blowing up the Beacon, they fled through the underground tunnels and found an old Palace

Achievements

• Won the final fight in Camp Fosfor, which earned them the Mark of the Lion.
• Gathered information on the flaming green rock (the obsidian) and decoded the message.
• Slayed a manticore and took his head as a gift for King Graham.
• Helped protect Bright Keep in an orc attack.
• Saved Timmy from the well.
• Protected Heaven's Keep during the Deamon attacks with the help of Casey Jones.
• Befriended Natoc the yeti.
• Destroyed the Soul Beacon.
• Fought in The Assault on Dralgus and helped kill Prince Masxrox.
• Fought alongside the Goddess Nike to defeat Kronkus.
