Geography
The Sunlight reflects brightly upon the large, yellow sand dunes. These dunes stretch as far as the eye can see, yet some patches of desert plants can be found. The KhalaJari desert is located in the south of Aurleen, north of the Dwarven Hills. What once was a thriving community is now a large desert. You can still see the remnants of the old civilization. Many, by sand engulfed, ruins are still unexplored as there are few adventurers brave enough to set foot in these remains.
Fauna & Flora
Though the KhalaJari desert is mostly yellow looking, it does contain some oasis with green trees and bushes. The few settlements are built around these oasis. Traversing the KhalaJari Desert is no light matter as you should always be on the lookout for Desert Lions, giant Schorpions, Mummy's and even a Leviathan!
Many have debated about the original structure of the sand, some believe it is of magic origin. They even claim the sand gains a healing property when in contact with a large quantity of water. Plants and trees that grow alongside this pool grow abnormally large.
