Mutiny on the Grand Jewel

"Adhàmh!"
"John!"
"ADHÀMH!"
"JOHN!"
"AADHAAAMH!!"
"JOOOOHN!!!"
and so on

The Grand Jewel was supposed to deliver private cargo from Torda to Baron Zarovich in Grover on order of Prince Braax. The cargo was to be guarded by 12 mercenaries including Ol' Salty Rumbreath Crippletoe John, Àdhàmh MacDùghlas and Shireen Redkin. When a mercenary named Julius and Adhàmh found out the cargo was a chest containing 25 million gold pieces they started planning to take it for themselves and tried to persuade the remaining mercenaries. Ol' Salty and Shireen reluctantly agreed as long as captain Trisfall was not hurt.

At night, when trying to hoist the chest into a lifeboat, the mercenaries were apprehended by captain Trisfall and her deckhands. Before a fight could break loose, Ol' Salty charged at captain Trisfall, but instead of attacking her he fell to his knees and asked for her hand in marriage. As everyone stood there, motionless, completely baffled, time seemed to have stopped. As the atmosphere grew denser by the minute, captain Trisfall slowly opened her mouth. "Yes," she said, "but I will never give up my ship!". And that was all Ol' Salty needed to know. Ol' Salty closed his eyes, cocked his trusty blunderbuss and let his heart speak...

In one swift movement he turned around and fired at the self proclaimed mercenary leader Julius. Again Ol' Salty's action took everyone by surprise. With the sound of the blunderbuss still booming in everyone's ears, swords were drawn, but before the first clash of steel upon steel Adhàmh took to the air and plunged down at captain Trisfall, throwing her overboard. While the deckhands threw themselves at the mercenaries and Ol' Salty reloaded his gun, Shireen bolted for the lifeboat cutting the ropes before the mercenaries could load the chest in the boat. Once in the water she helped captain Trisfall to safety.

Meanwhile on deck Adhàmh took place at the helm. "Adhàmh!" John yelled, "you don't have to do this, you're a good lad!"

"John!
Think about what we can do with all that gold! I could free Skandia!" Adhàmh yelled back while turning the helm. Captain Trisfall suddenly arrived on deck again, having been given a boost up by Shireen.
"Enough!"
her voice boomed over the deck. All eyes were on the captain, soaking wet, heaving in anger, "go! Take the lifeboat, I won't tell, but leave the gold"

But it was too late. Adhàmh had already set his sight on the gold AND the ship. The deckhands slowly realized they stood no chance against the trained mercenaries, Adhàmh's words began to make sense to them and they eventually dropped their weapons. Captain Trisfall would've fought them all if it wasn't for Ol' Salty throwing her over his shoulder and fleeing for the last remaining lifeboat.

Captain Trisfall could only watch how the distance between them and her ship became bigger and bigger. From that day forth she swore revenge on that treacherous Skandian bastard Adhàmh MacDùghlas.
