Spectral Plane

Every Material Plane has its own energies, positive and negative, which it utilizes to function. These energies originate from and are stored in overlapping realities known as Spectral Planes. Dimensionally layered second in the order of planes, Spectral Planes are monochrome, silent, and mostly empty planes of existence which are shattered mirrors of their respective Material Plane. When powerful souls attempt to pass on from their Material Plane, they sometimes become trapped in their realm's Spectral Plane.
