The Blue-Leafed Goosetrap

The Blue-Leafed Goosetrap is a rare plant species found in Atios. Thousands of years ago, they were commonly found growing in the deep woods north of Din'Lux. They were known to swallow whole birds, rodents, and even small children. For this reason, they were seen as a botanical menace and were culled nearly to extinction. 

Now, the Blue-Leafed Goosetrap can only be found in greenhouses cultivated by botanists entranced by these strange and lovely specimens. While these plants can be dangerous and even fatal if underfed, as long as they are provided a healthy meal of small creatures, they are harmless and even affectionate towards their caretakers. It is also said that they appreciate music and can easily be lulled into sleep with a soft, lilting tune.
