The Peoples of Atios

Atios is a world inhabited by a variety of different peoples. While some regions have a higher population of certain groups, at least some diversity exists in all corners of Atios.

A majority of the residents in Din'Lux are elves, but the city has become far more diverse since the return of the Starless Nights. An influx of refugees seeking safety from the Darkness brought many dwarves, orcs, and humans to Din'Lux.

There have also been a number of strange beings who have emerged from the Starless Nights with no understanding of local languages or customs. These individuals have become known as the "Displaced".

An entirely new being has also been introduced to Atios. Revenants are metal shells constructed of rare and expensive materials that have been imbued with a departed soul called forth from beyond the veil. Kinfire cores keep their souls tied to their bodies while also providing them with access to magical energy and the ability to walk through a Starless Night safely.
