Personality

Naz's most challenging struggle has always been belief in herself. She has natural leadership abilities but sometimes has difficulty mustering the confidence to utilize those skills. She is a fearsome warrior and a brilliant strategist. She greatly respects authority figures like Vath of the Tuskrippers and admires his leadership and the bold moves he took in order to guarantee the safety and livelihoods of the refugees in Din'Lux.

Physical Description

Despite her young age, Naz reaches an imposing height. As an orc, she matured quite early and will continue to grow as she ages. Her skin has a green hue which darkens slightly with strong emotion.

Apparel & Accessories

Naz typically dresses in the traditional clothing of her orcish farming clan. She also wears the colors of her clan--the Windstrikes.

Specialized Equipment

Naz carries a distinctive sword named "Inevitable" that was gifted to her by her trainer, Riis.

Special Abilities

As an orc, Naz has weather sensing abilities. She possesses the ability to predict an oncoming Starless Night, though this skill hasn't been honed as well as her others. Naz has also been training in the use of wind magic since she was young.

Personal History

Naz was raised in a farming village of primarily orcs. Even as a child, she was expected to work the farm and be educated in the science of agriculture. She found herself bored by these chores and instead showed interest in being trained by her villager's guardian, Riis. Riis taught her combat and tactics and also nurtured the leadership skills he saw hidden behind her self-doubt.

The orcs in Naz's community used their natural abilities to sense changes in moisture levels and temperature as well as oncoming rain and storms. But Naz sensed something much darker coming. She felt the need to learn how to defend herself and her family and spent her days training herself as much as she could. She warned everyone around her, but few would listen.

Frustrated and worried, she left her home, hoping to find out more about this strange dark storm she sensed on the horizon. She wanted to find a way to protect her family. Not far from Din’Lux, Naz encountered a battalion of primarily orcish mercenaries. She shared with them some of the vegetables and other foods she had packed for the journey and told them about the dark storm she felt coming. A few of them had sensed it as well, and anxious whispers had been spreading among the orcs.

Naz joined these mercenaries, hoping to learn something that could help her village. While in their company, she honed her skills of hand-to-hand combat and strategy.

When the first Starless Night struck, Naz desperately wanted to return to her family, but she was forced to take refuge in the city of Din'Lux. In the time since, she has discovered that the farmland of her village has been swallowed by the Darkness and replaced with some new and unfamiliar landscape. Restless and grieving, she eventually joined the Seekers' Guild in a search for purpose and meaning.

A commander at heart. Victory is her only option.
