The Horseshoe

The Horseshoe is a U-shaped island of land given over to the mostly-dwarven refugees who arrived in Din'Lux when the Darkness returned. This land was part of an official agreement, an emergency peace treaty in the wake of the first Starless Night. This area was previously unpopulated for the most part, so most of the structures here are newly built. Some of the military machines used in the war were repurposed as building materials and can be seen throughout the Horseshoe as bridges, supports, and shelters. The borough is divided into two districts, but housing is spread throughout the island.

Scholar Fell is dominated by the immense structure of the Scholar's Circle Guildhouse, where the surviving members of the Scholar's Circle live and study. Many craftsmen also live and work in this area.

Market Fell is the southern half the Horseshoe where many shops, businesses and warehouses can be found. It also features an open-air market selling a variety of goods.
