The Nests

The Nests is a mostly residential area made up of upper and upper-middle class housing and businesses. On either end of this borough is a gate providing road access to the Stumps on the west side and the Coping on the east. Entry to the Coping from the Nests is permitted at a cost of 3 coin per wagon, while entry to the Nests from the Stumps is 2 coin per wagon. A small garrison is located on the west end for the gate guards, who don't have the best reputation.
The Lower Branches and the Trunk are both upper-middle class residential areas with steep, stone staircases that lead to the Upper Branches and the Canopy respectively.
Glory Plaza, built around a central fountain flanked by two towering elven statues, marks the center of the city. The buildings adjacent to and visible from Glory Plaza are required to have their roofs tiled with a particular blue clay. A mix of homes and businesses can be found along the edges of the central plaza. Glory Plaza is also a popular hotspot in the evening hours. Restaurants, taverns, and even shops here are open late into the night. Colorful lights decorate the walkways in this neighborhood and activities don't quiet down until nearly dawn.
The Upper Branches and the Canopy are the wealthiest neighborhoods in the Nests. The Canopy is one of the oldest residential areas of Din'Lux and the grand, ornate houses here are mostly inhabited by the descendants of ancient elven families. The Upper Branches features relatively new homes.
The High Gate, the area outside the gate leading to the Coping, is home to several businesses, each topped with the iconic blue clay tiles of the wealthy.
