BSG | Event 0017 - An Embarrassing Problem
General Summary
Your August Majesty, I'm afraid someone has been painting obscene grafitti on your monument in The Coast.King Calimaco Bladesong:
I assume it's been washed off by now?Lord Patrician Basca Nada:
Yes, Your August Majesty. But every time we remove the images, they appear again the next day.
We need to track down the perpetrator. You're becoming a laughing stock in The Coast.
When The Council is called to gather, some of the Nobles whisper behind their hands, stifling giggles. Lord Patrician Basca Nada was right!
The CouncilResult | What can be done about the obscene grafitti being painted on the statue of the Monarch in The Coast? |
---|---|
Yea | Brutally crack down on the locals until the perpetrator is found. |
Nay | Send the Watch to investigate without drawing attention to themselves. |
Nay | Offer a reward for the perpetrator's capture. |
Nay | This is nothing to worry about. |
The soldiers storm the local vilage, shouting and kicking people until they get the answer they're looking for.
The culprit is a local artist protesting the Monarch's recent refusal to become their patron.
The refusal was totally justified. Other than certain parts of anatomy, which are bizarrely detailed, their artwork is slapdash and sloppy.
The artist is thrown into the dungeons to think about what he's done, and hopefully pratice drawing more wholesome parts of the body.
However, the over-the-top reaction has made Calimaco Bladesong even more enemies in The Coast.
