BSG | Event 0026 - The Songstress's Secret
General Summary
The Spymaster silently appears at the Monarch's desk. She has returned from her mission to investigate the Songstress, and Calimaco Bladesong can scan her for signs that she's lost her will.

She pulls a pair of plugs out of her ears.
Spymaster Ismay:The CouncilThe Songstress is a Witch, drawing power from her lyre. It's made from magical wood - some Wizard who accidentally turned himself into a tree.
When she sings while playing the lyre, people obey. But without that, she's nothing.

At the Songstress's next performance, she walks out and plucks her lure. When the soldiers burst on-stage, she smiles and sings at them to kneel.
But the soldiers just laugh and point at their plugged ears. They snatch her lyre and smash it underfoot.
She's dragged off to the dungeons, kicking and screaming.

All across the Kingdom, it is as though a spell has been lifted. The commonfolk forget the Songstress entirely, moving on to some new obsession.
