Finchweep Fort
Finchweep Fort is the main fort between Aroku and Nadun. Across the border are much smaller outposts that are constantly guarded.
"A flat desert terrain with a mountain range running the entire length of the territory, every twenty miles along the border was a small outpost from which a soldier could easily spot someone trying to cross it unauthorized. In the middle of the collection of outposts rose Finchweep Fort. Finchweep Fort was the only authorized point of entry into Nadun. It also served as a residence for thousands of soldiers and had to house them all comfortably. A thick wall of granite wrapped around the outside of the fortification. Finchweep itself was split in half by its stronghold, to the left of which were barracks and family housing that spanned five of the ten-acre fort. On the right side were all the other necessary staples of military life – stables, kitchens, mess halls, bathhouses, training grounds, armory, and the like."

"Once a month, markets would be set up within the fort for merchants and traders and people from the Far Off Continent to peddle their wares to the wealthy soldiers."
