Nomen Centaurs

The Nomen Centaurs have lived on the plains east of the Tors of Levenies for centuries. During the Taldan occupation, they were pushed east, but after the collapse of the Taldan Empire, the lands were swiftly retaken. The Nomen claim that the foothills east of the Tors are sacred to them, and that it is their holy duty to guard the mountains against outsiders.
Nomen centaurs form a matriarchal society led by a war priestess named Aecora Silverfire, who has the rank of "Moon Mother". Their long history with the armies of Taldor, and their more recent history with the people of Varnhold have left them distrustful of bipedal folk.
