Even with every atom of his body being now purely mechanical Vapor still thinks of himself as one of his subjects, as an ordinary denizen, who happens to just live a lot longer than everybody else. He is one of the few
Eternals, whose friend circle consists mostly out of mortals. He loves the people and the people are loving him.
Be it at the helm of the military air fleet, the mayor of the city in the sky, Gemenskap or simply as the first demigod of the Eternal Counsel; Vapor never lost ground towards his roots.

A behemoth of the sky, armed to the brim, highly resistant to every possible hazard, but turned civil and passive; due to its size and the considerable count of permanent denizen, it is even considered a city of their own, called Gemenskap

Vapor's mortal life:
The
elf Juri Ganars, called "Vapor" by his crew, was in his mortal life a devoted soldier of Vigors cause, being a commander over Etherium's airforce. As an especially devoted Fury he was known and loved within his community as a fair and truthful leader.
An incident on a siege at
Rubeus caused Juri's airship to crash due to an hull breach.
He was forced to do an emergency landing in enemy territory. Juri and his crew got found by soldiers of Rubeus but rather than killing them, they took the crew with them to treat their wounds. They clearly disliked the current situation, but couldn't stand seeing any being hurt. They got brought to a small sanctum at the coast. There Juri was given a chance by the high priest of the sanctum to read some records of the old age, records that got seemingly overlooked by the Eternal Counsel in their knowledge purge 1900 years prior.
Letters about the cruelty of X-Genesis, about the uncertainty after the world got turned to ash and the gods vanished. Records of the Eternal's return in 150 AS rebuilding a dying world with lost technology and guidance.

Being a faithful follower of the
Eternal Counsel these records screamed heresy to Juri, as they contradicted with everything he knew about the past.
He stole the records and escaped with his crew calling for an allied aircraft to pick them up. Back in the air, he ordered the fleet to concentrate fire on this breeding pool of heresy with everything they got turning it into the
Sanctum of the dead it is known as in the current days.
Back in
Scamall Juri tried to get his friend, a follower of Thrive devoting his essence to the Omniscient, to grant him a meeting with their god Terminus, with the intention to hand him the notes of heresy for keepsake, as this god collected every record of the living.
Juri got eventually towards Terminus presenting him the records. Him, realizing what Juri was holding there, grabbed him and underwent an emergency teleport toward Konesans. In absolute isolation, he introduced Juri to a book containing all records of X-Genesis, confirming in the process the sheets as the truth.
Juri's believes were shattered, he killed thousands earlier this week because they were keeping the truth alive? He asked Terminus, why he had given him all those information and terminus stated weak, that he needed someone to talk towards about all the cruelty the Eternal Counsel committed stating, that he will now be forced to take care of Juri, keeping him from now on in isolation on Konesans unless he keeps his mouth shut and joins his cause as a loyal partner keeping the truth shut until the time has come. And Juri accepted.

Terminus used this chance to talk to his brother and sisters about a plan of his, a plan to expand the pantheon with especially devoted followers, ascending them towards demigods of their cause. This got accepted immediately, as everybody knew that four of them were simply not enough for handling their expansion plans and so Terminus recommended a mortal, that caught his eye lately, an elven man, who goes by the nickname "Vapor", an individual, who knows everything that can be known about the sky and airships.
