Session XVII: Extraction Report
General Summary
Waking up in Agna, Kuryu Hrounvor and Myoster Dralasar are missing. After a quick search of the tavern the party finds a trail of blood leading to an alley where they are met with the traumatizing sight of their dead friends. Eiros Frälsaren, Waster and Nacht bury their friends in the local park and decide they will do anything to get revenge on the Doran. During the burial a letter from Taerel tells them to meet their new party members at the town square.
The backup turns out to be Ruby Spark The Animated Mist Clan and Yome Rogger, a panther tabaxi and an 8'1" firbolg. They bring news from Taerel to go to an alleyway and meet with a cleric to get the primordial stone they were sent to extract from Agna.
The party, with the exception of Waster who is not willing to pay the two gold, takes the griffin taxi to the Knowledge Square at the foot of the Spire of Knowledge. After a not so quick stop at a restaurant the adventurers make their way to the alley. There they are met with a water fountain sculpture of a god, suddenly they are transported through the realms and end up in a magical forest where they meet the cleric.
The cleric explains that, to remain secret, he has chosen the Feywild as their meeting place. He hands the party the stone and tells them that the Doran have already collected all but one of the remaining stones. The party is ought to go to the Isian Mountains to meet up with Taerel and the whole organisation and protect the stone there.
Back in the mortal realm night has fallen. The party makes their way to the docks, where Ruby and Yome have a ship waiting, but are soon attacked by hidden enemies! Yome is knocked out by a poisonous arrow, but Eiros quickly revives him. The hunt for the assassins begins and is successful with the party, though hindered by darkness, slaying four assassins. Waster and Nacht especially putting up a real show.
They reach the ship, but are then attacked by a fifth assassin who significantly weakens Ruby and knocks out Yome for the second time in less than an hour.
Under fire, the party manages to escape into the Bay of Agna, sailing into the night.
