Constellation; The Wolf
"The Wolf is ordinarily the stars' way of telling hunters and trappers that it's going to be a good time to hunt. It also warns ranchers and shepherds that the predators are out, and they're bold. It has a bifurcated perception, then, for wilder folk it's a good sign and appears on many shields and family crests while for the more civilized among us it's considered a sign to be cautious.
"When Mizov passes over the star known as the Wolf's Eye, however, all know it to be an ill omen. The star's red light bends around the black orb, casting a dim, burning halo where the eye should be. This is the time when the werewolves erupt from their human skins. it they must transform and they must consume the flesh of their own. This sign is known as Malar, the Beast of Ill Omen, and its unpredictable appearance in the heavens are cause to shutter the doors of ones' homes and not leave until morning."
