A Ferneth exists in a region from which it was created. It cannot survive outside of this region.

Nearly all Ferneth are strictly carnivores, partially feeding on the act of violence itself.

If slain, the Ferneth reforms in a year and a day. It lives in fear of the one that slew it, and seeks to please them with gifts and fair weather or bountiful harvests.

Ferneth can typically speak Primordial or Sylvan. Some can actually speak common, or another mortal language.
Common Taboos
Speaking to them in celestial, infernal, or abyssal will drive them into either a blind rage or unthinking bestial panic.
Ferneth slain by mortals become tamed for as long as they fear that mortal.
History
Ferneth are monstrosities that are manifestations of geography. They are created by the dreams of the slain primordials that formed or are entombed within the continents.
