Personal history

Gavin was born to a prostitute named Bernie and a wealthy client. Plutarch Winzi Innezu had enough children to pass on her wealth and had little concern or need of another one, so Gavin was dropped off at his father's door and disowned. Raised in the Men About Town brothel, he developed a philosophy of despising weakness and disloyalty. He came to value [Larghe more than people.
His Becoming was a raid on a Hellion camp that had been causing trouble for caravans. While the details are spott, the result was that he led six men and thirteen women back to the city in chains, and as far as any can tell there were no survivors that had escaped.
He was readopted into his family and became a deputy. He started off as a well respected officer of the law, and rose steadily through the ranks. He began to show signs of cruelty early on with the worst offenders, but every extrajudicial killing drove him ever so slightly more towards true villainy. By the time he was elected Sheriff of Port Hugo after moving there to throw his hat in the ring unopposed following the death of the previous Sheriff, he was known as 'harsh but fair.' A few years later, he was feeding people to his dogs for making prolonged eye contact.
It was for this reason that Midja Bürkli was able to easily usurp him, and he fled into the wilderness, where he gathered outcasts and disaffected Hellions into a small band of outlaws to become a thorn in the side of his replacement.
He was infected with Lycanthropy during one of his many scrapes with Midja Bürkli, and has been obsessively attempting to trace her infection backwards. Despite this, he has no interest in a cure, wanting only to access more of this power. He works with the Miulkari Di'werkihlna, selling them any interesting trinkets his band comes across in exchange for material support.

Gavin is the former Sheriff of Port Hugo and is currently an outlaw, acting as a warchon for a still forming band of Hellion Raiders
