Technique - Penya's Riposte

Penya's Riposte is a technique developed by Penya Shieldreaper of Alcedene.
The technique is journeyman level, and Seak Beardo Von Shmit sells her pamphlet on the technique for a base price of 50 gp.
It is a posture technique, wherein the swordsman is ready with every strike and parry at a moment's notice to half-hand their weapon and deliver a savage half-hand thrust from an unexpected angle. The technique has been likened to a cobra's thrust.

Technique:
When an opponent rolls 5 or more below your AC, you may immediately spend your reaction to make an attack.
This technique takes a 60 days of training to learn, with the forms focusing on footwork and posture, striking at seeming random from angles normally shunned by swordmasters.
This technique only works with two handed weapons.
