The Hungry Throne
Made from an alien stone and placed inside of the yawning maw of a Titans half-mummified skeleton, the Hungry Throne is a potent symbol for Greenskin kind, and if the tales are to be believed it is a potent magical artifact.
While it hasn't happened (to anyone's knowledge) for several generations, when a Greenskin that hasn't yet fulfilled the prophecy sits on the throne, the mummified serpents that once ringed the titan's head come to life and tear the poor soul apart, bathing the Hungry Throne in blood and viscera which it immediately consumes.
Purpose / Function
The Hungry Throne beneath Shekec is the mythical seat of power for the Greenskins. Makub decreed that upon the throne would sit the high king of the Goblinoids, and only such a greenskin has the right. Makub propheseid that the one destined to be the king and sit on the Hungry Throne would be the goblin that unites the legions and destroys the elves of Doroinir Nimloth.
It is said that the one sitting upon the Hungry Throne can see through the eyes of every Greenskin on Kobos, and immortality would be theirs for as long as they can hold command.
Finally, when a Greenskin can sit upon the throne and call it theirs, they will be able to resurrect and command Erazaxa.
Alterations
After being taken from the Greenskin birthplace Narcoh Vend, the Hungry Throne was hidden in remote caves until the legions sacked Lake Hope. The prophet known as the Voice of Makub directed them to find the petrified corpse of Erazaxa the Titan. Her skull was suspended on a natural bridge over a deep chasm, and her bones were embedded in the walls. The Hungry Throne was placed in her yawning mouth.
Architecture
The throne room of the Hungry Throne was a natural cavern that has seen small alterations by the goblins of Shekec over the years to make it wider.
