Dawn's Redoubt is destroyed. Despite a few more successes, Maecodia loses its foothold in Shelor.

The ancient red dragon Gragenwal demolishes Dawn’s Redoubt just five years after it is renamed. There are no survivors. A Third Crusade is called on Gragenwal specifically, and the dragon meets the ships at sea. Half of them are killed, but the dragon doesn’t survive and is weighed down and dropped into the depths of the ocean. The crusade attains more mild successes but again the belligerents take their booty home to the Monastery of the Sun.
