Gun Mage

The gun mage is a profession mainly employed by the Arcadiam mage corps. Originally this type of mage used elongated wands to fire bullet type spells but with the development of fire arms technology brought from overseas, the caster rifle was conceived. Caster guns use caster shells as their primary means of ammunition and utilize a transfixion crystal with a magical firing array. The advantage of using these rifles allows the mage to fire spells without using mana or invoke spells that require casting time.
