Just over 600 years ago Komos was changed forever. War after war culminated in a disastrous event known as The Great Exitium. Komos was split into two regions; a magical wasteland and a mundane area of civilization. Magic altered the terrain, wildlife, and people of the area now known as the Rovine, while two mountain ranges protected Chao from this alteration. Now, Chao is home to the only four kingdoms in Komos, and those that still live in the Rovine are terrorized by all kinds of horrific monsters.
