In December of 480 AE, Hagan Thovak took the human forces allied to his family and invaded the Kingdom of Fralin, entering through Volund's Pass. The combination of harsh winter conditions and the element of surprise was overwhelming for the elves stationed in the Western reaches of the Kingdom of Fralin. In just three months, Hagan successfully pushed the elf forces away from the sea.
