Goliath Plateau
A massive plateau that is barely visible from the edge of the crescent city. Casting the only reliable pool of shadow in the entire of the desert.
Geography
A truly Goliath plateau, spanning several miles long and a couple miles wide. Few people have ever been atop it, fewer still over it, none have ever come back over. The plateau is around 5 miles tall, jagged rocky cliff faces seem to be on all sides.
Ecosystem
A vibrant rainforest ecosystem, birds, frogs, leopards, almost entirely contained and untouched by any outsiders for years and years.
Climate
Due to its colossal size, moisture that would like to drift into the desert gets stopped by the plateau. This leads to a very wet and humid rainforest like environment atop the plateau. The drips of this are what help to farm the hopglass mushrooms in Tonopah
