Miching Mallecho play

A play by the greatest poet of the Sword Coast Simbram Sandovar. It has never been fully performed. It's first and only performance was cut short by the The Odeum Theatre Massacre .   The play was commissioned by Lord Mirt Mertonius the Old Wolf.   Summary:   Miching Mallecho uses the structures of the Tragedy of Intrigue, but Sandovar as usual employs these to his own ends. The central plot follows the ambitious Prince Cedric's conspiracy to seize the throne from his sister, Princess Elara.   As the story unfolds, Princess Elara is falsely accused of a crime and banished from the kingdom, causing division among the people. In Act 3, Elara returns with evidence of her innocence, leading to further turmoil and a climactic moment. During this pivotal scene, a haunting figure known as Betrayal appears, singing a mesmerizing and melancholic song that casts a powerful spell over the characters and audience. The song recounts the tragedy of sibling betrayal and the unbridgeable gap it has created.   As Betrayal's song reaches its climax, a chilling transformation occurs: both Cedric and Elara wither and age rapidly, their life force draining away. Their reconciliation is cut short, and they both collapse, lifeless.   Elara's spirit ascends to heaven, surrounded by celestial light, while Cedric is seized by dark, shadowy figures and dragged into the depths of hell. The kingdom witnesses this surreal and tragic spectacle in horror.
