The Odeum Theatre

A grand post-Drandian style playhouse in Waterdeep. Built on the ruins of the Temple of Vecna after its destruction by Seitch the Paladin and his Shining Army, the playhouse was designed by the famous architect Phelandin Needapi.

The theatre seats 500 in the orchestra and another 100 in the gallery. There are 8 boxes for the nobility. A modern Gnomic Imaginengine is underneath the stage, giving a variety of dazzling effects. The lighting system is unique: 200 salamanders, controlled by "lighting minders" shine their light onto the stage, giving the world's only focused artificial lighting.

The Theatre was the site of the The Odeum Theatre Massacre .
