The Laws of Koria

In my Arcana Basics article explained magic is a force the users with the affinity to it can pull from another dimension through something called "the veil", a barrier between the worlds. There are runes to alter the magic and the usage and there are things you don't want to wake up.   You can't store magic in your body, so you are powerless without a focus.   Besides that all normal laws of physics, body and mind apply.

Principal Geography & Features

Koria is mostly rich of grass and fertile land, with three main mountain ranges. Most of the continent has a mild climate, except for the freezing northern ranges and the burning hot deserts of Pisocenia.

Initial Active Setting

Koria as a whole is part of all of my story telling. We not only explore the surface, but also the depths of what lurks beneath the Emerald Planes, hold back by the Magmakin, a clan of dwarves who are most of the time to angry to die.   We will hop between different eras of time to explore different kingdoms, rulers, people. The lost Dragon Sun Empire, remnants where Hulwar now has emerged. We will explore the depths of the oceans, the freezing planes of the Northern Realms or the magical tower of the Garladan.
