Personal history

Mel's mother, Tûsæjy, is a Skogsalver, a species of secretive woodland elves, and her father, Quilus, is a Human guard captain. Their paths crossed when Quilus was tasked with investigating the Skogsalver's caravan to assess any potential threat. Accompanied by his two best guardsmen, he ventured into the forest and unexpectedly encountered Tûsæjy foraging for alchemical reagents.

Approaching her cautiously, Quilus explained his mission to assess the caravan's intentions. However, as they conversed, he came to understand that the Skogsalver simply sought to live peacefully without causing or experiencing any harm. In the midst of this interaction, they both found themselves drawn to each other. Their connection not only dispelled misconceptions about each other's communities but also averted unnecessary conflict.
