Opera - Forest Gnomes
Opera are shy, reclusive vivaxi who live in small communties deep in the forest. They are friendly with the skogsalver, as well as having open relations with nearby fey. They also interact freely with their cousins, the rock gnomes.

Opera are anatomically indistinguishable from their cousins the rock gnomes.
Genetics and Reproduction
Opera reproduce sexually. Despite their apparent similarity, opera cannot reproduce with rock gnomes.

Opera live deep in the forests, as far from "civilization" as possible.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Opera are ominvorous, living on tubers, truffles and mushrooms, berries, herbs, and nuts, supplemented with the meat of forest birds. They rarely eat fish or red meat, but will do so when necessary.

Facial characteristics
Female opera look more or less like tiny human women. Adult males develop broad, bulbous noses, thick facial hair, and bushy eyebrows; females do not exhibit these traits.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Opera skin coloration is tan or brown and their hair is usually sandy in color, though about a quarter of the population has some form of ginger hair, ranging from light orange to auburn to flaming red.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Adapted to warrens and burrows, opera have some ability to see in dim light and darkness.
