Emboldened by the rise of the Divinity of Rogiq, the Daccians saw that the iron will of the Empire could be challenged. Led by a highly charismatic and populist warrior woman named Atwabeia Appeilcima Sicca, Qupin Dacciia whipped up dissent within Daccian society with astonishing speed. On the 10th of Ins, 1430 LE, Appelcima led a force of Daccian militia, supported by Nadho orcish warriors, in a surprise attack on the Legionary Government of Dacciia. Their surprise was absolute, and their overwhelming victory led the people to grant Appelcima the Caliwivum "Pala," meaning "Victor." Appelcima wasted no time capitalizing on her victory, declaring herself R̂idia of Dacciia to widespread acclaim.
