The Interloper
The Interloper is a mysterious, morally ambiguous supernatural being, neither good nor evil. All who claim to see him depict him as a being in a black hooded robe. Under the hood is a skull. Others who have claimed to see him claim that he appears to them as a plain-looking young man with short black hair and black eyes, wearing a black coat, black pants, and black boots.
There are secluded sects of groups that worship the Interloper, but it is considered heresy by most of the Temples of the Prime Deities, as he as seen as an evil power. Those who are convicted of worshiping the Interloper are punished by extreme measures, up to and including death. There are others who believe that the Interloper is a creation of the Void. Others believe he is an illegetimate son of Kormund, the dark twin creator god. There are some who believe he is the result of a ritual-gone-wrong, in which he was the target of a sacrifice to grant others the knowledge and power of a force beyond the confines and understanding of the known planes.
