The Republic of Quisalor

With almost no hope left, the people of Daromin were to live as nationless people, seeking a home that they knew would never truly be home. Roma Quisalor sought to halt those fears, and worked to rebuild Daromin into a safe-haven, a place in which people could feel free and safe. With the aid of Calemdar and Arcania, major amounts of resources were brought to the fallen kingdom. The rubble of the former nation was swept away, old stones were used to rebuild walls and castles. Villages that were swept from the earth were rebuilt. Forests that were burned away were replanted. By the time of Roma's death, she had ensured that the Darominians would have a home to return to. The people who were left that remembered the iron-fisted rule of the Darominian Kingdom wished to never return to such a horror. Many banded together and formed a Hall of Representatives, members who were elected by their fellow citizens. The head of the Hall would be known as the Dux Praetorium, and would be charged with the further protection and defense of Quisalor. Roma Quisalor is buried within a special location in the Hall of Representatives, and her grand statue stands outside in its courtyard for all to see. Many pilgrims and travelers have crossed the seas to pay their respects to the fallen leader.
