Barris, born in Dalhurst to a Human mother and an unknown High Elf father, grew up believing in the tales of his heroic elven father. As he matured, he realized the stories were fabricated, leading to a deep longing to uncover the truth. Despite the disappointment, Barris embraced his Elven blood and honed his archery skills, becoming a skilled hunter to support his family. However, the passing of time, due to his elven lineage, made Barris feel detached from his loved ones in Dalhurst. After the death of his great-nephew, he decided to leave his hometown behind and journeyed to Summershield, the capital of the Otholian Empire. There, fate intervened when he encountered the Seers of Summershield, a mercenary group promising adventure and payment.
Motivated by the prospect of exploring the world and seeking a place to belong, Barris eagerly joined the mercenary group. He hopes to find purpose, uncover his father's whereabouts, and discover his true calling along the way.
