Vaxis wakes in the Seamstresses Guild, having been healed by them, still missing a portion of her left foot, however.
  The Patrician organises the public execution of the man who tried to kill him.
  The Patrician, Shinebright, The Hamer, Inspector Javert, Commander Sam Vimes, Vaxis, Henri, Zjerb & Iyan attend the execution.
  Vaxis and Henri, are seen to be acting suspiciously and are subsequently arrested.
  Vaxis escapes arrest with Iyan’s help.
  The Patrician gives a speech to the crowd about the attempt on his life and then executes the Assassin with the Poudre Pistolet, the same weapon used by the Assasin the day before.
  Henri is held by guards for several hours in the Barbican.
  The Pickling Guild operatives all reconvene at the False Lamb Inn. Henri performs for the patrons and the operatives go on their way.
