Takola
The fertile lands of Takola are the breadwinners of Kralkan; this Kingdom is the main food producer for the continent.
This land is led by King Uzal Zakon and Queen Gwenllian Zakon -- royalty held in high regard with the nobles of the land. Their only son, Cameron Jivost Zakon, has just married into a new noble family: the Demontes, a family known for their unique fruit crop and their Tiefling blood, a point of concern among the other nobles in the land. The King and Queen continue to raise the Prince and Princess as heirs, seemingly unburdened by the opinions of the nobles.

Government
Caste-based:
- Nobles: Land owners. Every year the land they own has the potential to be redistributed by the king based on how well their farm profited the previous year. Land can also be distributed on the king’s opinion of the noble and is used as praise and as punishment for the noble class. Typically seen as “fat and happy”, the nobles like to put on weight or wear clothes that will cause them to take up more space to show their excessive wealth. If they can show how much better they are than the people around them, they have a higher probability of keeping their land.
- Celebrities: Bards, artisans, and jesters. Well known artisans can have just as much money as a noble, the only difference is they do not own land and are hired to perform. Rarely, some will buy their own small plot to build a shop or theater to run their shows in. More often they travel in a large circus and travel through the Kingdom.
- Peasants: The common man. These are the people that own taverns, inns, general stores, or are part of traveling markets. If they have land, it is only a small homestead and shop. They are allowed to travel the Kings road freely and can camp for no longer than a week on any of the kings hunting lands -- though this law is weakly enforced. Nomads are typically lumped into this group, regardless of how much they possess.
- Servants: More equal serfs. Hired by families and are able to change families, move land, and negotiate their pay. Typically these are failed artisans, descendants of nobles that have lost their land, or were officially promoted by a noble from serfdom.
- Serfs: Almost-slave-class. Tied to the land they are born into. While serfs are technically allowed to leave the land, it is very taboo and looked down upon. The only time it is acceptable for a serf to leave their land is if they are formally asked to join a circus of high stature. There is a large belief that if a serf worked hard enough, then they could petition the King for land, and typically two serfs are granted their own land each year (this does not mean they always keep the land in the following years).
Industry & Trade
Takola is the main source of food and other agricultural products for the entirety of Kralkan. The vast majority of owned land in Takola is used for farming and any decorative land is considered a display of wealth.
History
End of Harvest Court: A week-long engagement of the aristocratic and noble class where they gather at the capital to boast about their financial gains in order to obtain more land and farming loans. Those not at court are busy getting the harvest ready for sale. Happens last week of Putri.
Plow Parties: Unrecognized parties of the servant class. When the ground is being turned over in the day, the taverns, popup markets, and traveling circuses are busiest at night. Most nobles will allow parties to happen so long as no excessive damage is done to the land and the work isn’t compromised.
Points of interest
There are few towns in Takola, but there are major market crossroads where farm ground property lines meet. In these areas, small sections of land are deeded off by the king or by the current owners of the farming land for taverns, inns, churches, theaters, and stable market places.
Climate
Temperate: a paradise for agriculture.
Natural Resources
The land is incredibly fertile and the climate is accomodating to farming almost year-round.
