Ferad temple
Purpose / Function
The palace in which the matriarch live, and all dream-dancers are formed.
Alterations
Multiple invasion of billars made it a bit dirty; mosaics and marble covered in dejections. The water and humidity also alters the wooden mechanism of the dams and canals.
Architecture
The temple is carved in the basalt of an underwater mountain, in the Akleidre archipelago. It is made mostly of basalt and marble, with terracotta and mosaics. Most of the rooms were built to be submersible; therefore most of them are separated by a heavy basalt door, and include a mechanism to fill or empty the room of water. Most rooms include canals and bridges. There are barely any wood furniture inside the temple for logical reason; most of it is made in stone and corral.
History
The temple has been raised long ago. before the fall, only the upper stages were present, a carved village for simple fishermen that would become the tribes of Akeidre. Then after the fall, when the Matriarch became the symbol of a real mystical power, the deep temple was dug, and is now her quarter. When Shaar and Kenariah took over the continent of Naredim, beasts, and especially bilars, invaded the temple and degraded it.
