From her birth, her soul is not such of a normal Elnumels, imbued with part of the essence of Polaris itself, her destiny is entirely written and obey to what Coronaria may advise her.
Requirements
The first Matriarch as one single soul of an elnumel that got imbued with Polaris' essence. althought supposed immortal, if she ever meet her demise, another one will be chosen by Polaris.
Appointment
From a dying Matriarch to a blossoming one. The new Matriarch is to capture and become soulmate with a kraken, that will die at the same time as her. the gods themselves will chose a girl from those who were born at the same time the last one died.
Duties
Nothing more than being here. Accepting her fate and stay in her palace.
Responsibilities
Maintain the ecosystem of akeidre, avoiding any conquest from evil creatures, hear the voices of the oceans, and seek predictions from kalma flows.

Should the destiny be cruel and make her die of an accident, or from her own mistakes in battle. should she fail or fall corrupt, the gods may decide of her fate.

The Matriarch of the flow became only one person, an immortal elnumel of Akeidre, the day she was born, the same moment the fall occurred.

Akeidre religion take hold of high importance for the Matriarch, however the peoples often even forget she even exists, as she has a little role in their everyday life.
