They often live around Orc encampments, or even inside them. A few also live in dwarven mines, collecting industrial waste from dwarves or stealing machinery parts. Goblins have a skin whose colour can have many shades that can cover the entire spectrum. Alas for them, who, although they have very good eyesight, do not distinguish colours clearly, unable to appreciate their own beauty.
There is a law, common to the four peoples, which totally forbids the use of magic to goblins, and punishes anyone who tries to teach them. The goblins, with the dwarven technology are already dangerous, even unintentionally, the use of magic would make them uncontrollable and devastating. There is, however, an exception for some goblins, the hoblins; they differ from their brothers in education, stature and intelligence, which is closer to that of orcs, and is the result of choice and education, not genetic evolution.
The goblins are not very interested in politics, and only take part in it if it is a real problem for their perpetual research; but the Orcs are rather good neighbours, and let them do what they want, as long as they stay in their shanty-towns on the outskirts of the cities, and in the mountains.

Anatomy
They are rather small and skinny, although they can stand upright and walk on two legs, they still run very well on all fours, and are able to jump and do very impressive acrobatics. They are mischievous creatures, not very clever but capable of learning very quickly.

except from the reproducing organ, there is not any difference between female and male. however, there is a difference between normal goblin and hoblin: Hoblin are educated goblin that stand straight, and wear real clothes? they even often wear a rapier.

They are quick breeders, only five months of gestation and often have twins or more (up to five), however even if they can, they are too occupied with other things to actually reproduces like animals. However, as Goblin tend to have no sense of preservation and play with their lives in experiments, they organize giant orgies to renew the specie when they are close to extinction. (which may happen more or less every three years)

Despite their natural adaptation to caverns and nocturnal life, they are pushing themselves to daytime exterior activities, by cultural will to be pushover.
Dietary Needs and Habits
If fast foods were a thing, they would literally live in it; which they do in Alkalia. But since that doesn't exist in Septrial they simply eat crude vegetables and raw (or sometime grilled) meat and fishes. They also rise chicken and other aviaries for eggs. Good Strixis broods often does that for them.

By the cultural will of pursuing a dangerous experiment, goblin never see they own ageing, and often die before knowing oldness.

They have a slightly bad sight in days, but are more comfortable at night and in caverns, and yet, they prefer living outside in plain days. They have a good hearing, and perceive ground vibrations.

Royz'kaza, the fuming mountain, all the goblin "technology innovations" are made here. Close to port-boros, it is a free zone that never an ork will risk visiting.

Goblin tabs on simplified Ork dialect and mathematic symbols. Hoblin are fluent in ork, Rakri and Alkalian, and often know some few words of Meridian when they work in Alkalia.

Loincloths and metal scrap for protection when experimenting. Hoblin tend to be more on traditional ork clothes, and even dream of more noble clothes from Alkalia.

Common Myths and Legends
It is said that when a goblin is stung by an agarthina bee at birth, he become a hoblin. If it is effectively a rare case; most hoblin are simply Goblin more curious about other subject than science, and fed up with being dumb.
