Anatomy
Hybrid of a human and an elf, they keep a mix of both species, they tend to have the corpulence of a human, and the tallness of an elf.
Biological Traits
Half elves are a mix of human and elves. Male tend to be closer to human, and female close to elves (flat chested and very smooth white skin), which also mean female tend to be taller than male.

Dietary Needs and Habits
The slight difference between human and half-elf is that half-elf tend to have a slight difficulty to digest meat and milk; and are often oriented toward a fish-vegetable diet.

They often have more elven traits on the face, with elven eyes, half-close.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Half-elves are all around, however as they are sometime not accepted in Oriaka, they tend to live either in Meridia, like those who are born here, or in Alkalia.

Naming Traditions
Either human or elven first name, and often tend to put both parent in family name to mark the two origins.
Major Language Groups and Dialects
As they are from human and elf origin, the two parent give them both language to study. as high caste elves tend to stay "pure", half-elf only know Karai and Meridian, and rarely Elfalen.
History
Since the separation of elnumels into human, elves, and dwarves, interspecies breed were possible; half elves always have been; but the context of racial war between human and elves did not help their propagation. If they were tolerated in human culture, in elven they were simply forbidden, and killed before birth if possible (and after birth if ever), or simply considered slaves as much as humans. Nowaday half-elves are perfectly integrated in meridia and all other countries of Naredim; and Oriaka's oldest family, if they still are trying to keep their purity, accept and tolerate half-elves, but still live in a constant racism.
