History
Ogres are solitary creatures, refusing even the company of a comparator of the opposite sex. Ogre mating takes place in a particularly strange mutual hatred of both partners. They prefer to live in the marshes and on the top of small hills, in thatched cottages of wood and straw, raising here and there a few animals (cows or sheep), mushrooms and a few vegetables (cabbage potatoes and carrots), agreeing to haggle over the said food with those who pass by. Although they are sensitive to magic, they are incapable of using a magic object, or of learning a spell; in any case, their big fingers would not be able to grasp any human-sized object, and by the strength of their grip alone, break it.
Politically the ogres benefit from graces, they are not subject to the laws of the cities, and are simply left alone in their huts, they are hermits anyway and participate through the production of food. Historically they were enslaved as strong transport for carved stones and wood building materials. it is now perfectly Illegal.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
They avoid relation other than trading food.
